Somewhere in the Romanian countryside
Hi, I’m Brian Dixon.
A lawyer with a twist.
As a third generation lawyer, I was destined to be an attorney, but nobody could have predicted how I built my firm or the way I practice.
I am a New York Admitted lawyer with five years of experience who travels the world while serving my clients, digital nomads and remote-first companies.
My experience as an online business owner and business consultant shaped my approach as a business-minded legal advisor.
I launched my fractional general counsel services while volunteering in Ukraine and catapulted that into Brian Dixon Law, where I work with innovative business owners and startups.
Brian Dixon Law was created to provide clients with an alternative legal solution. Taking a holistic approach, I meet my clients where they are as a person first, business second, and legal client third. This way we ensure the legal solution is tailored to meet your personal and business needs.

How Did I get Here?
From my time working with dogs in Ukraine
After starting out in a typical law-firm setting, I quickly realized traditional law was not for me. I lasted 8-months before heading to Denver and working as a business consultant.
This is where it gets wonky. The Pandemic hit and I realized there was a world waiting to be explored. I transformed from consultant to ghost writer and e-discovery lawyer, packed my bags and hit the road.
I was cruising along, exploring Europe and Central America, until July 2022, when I decided to take a two-week “vacation” to work with dogs at an animal rescue in Ukraine. While there, the founder asked me to help with setting up the charity and negotiating agreements and partnerships.
Two weeks turned into three months and walking dogs turned into helping with all things legal and operations. During this time, I fell in love with working closely with the founder, transcending the role of lawyer and becoming a trusted advisor.
When my time in Ukraine ended, I knew I wanted to build a law practice where I worked closely with founders and CEOs. Brian Dixon Law traces it’s roots back to Ukraine and remains a law firm that works with companies and individuals all over the world.
Since then, I have worked with small businesses and startups in various roles including general counsel and operations consultant.
